TRUST THE PROCESS Aftercare Instructions EyeBrows * Day 1: Remove the ointment applied after 3 hours using a cotton pad and bottled water. Keep the area CLEAN for the first day wipe cleaning your brows with a cotton pad and sterile or bottled water every 1-2 hours. * Day 2-10: Gently wash your brows in the morning and at night with water and antibacterial soap , pat dry with a paper towel; apply the LEAST amount of butter balm 2 times a day (make sure you don't over apply as this will cause additional pigment loss.) For powder brows clients start applying aquaphor the night before (day 1) * Avoid soaking brows under water for 10 days * Day 1: Brows will appear slightly thicker than the initial template, color looks darker and warmer due to the redness of the skin. * Day 2-4: Brows are darker than what you've expected, about 2 shades darker than what they will actually be once healed. Some redness may still persist on some clients. * Day 6-10: Brows normally start peeling around day 5-6. Some clients slightly peel, while some others may experience some scabbing. Once they start flaking, some areas of the eyebrows will fade more than others and as the skin heals, it will start to darken up again over a 3-4 week period * Day 28-40: At this time you'll actually start seeing the final result. Usually the final result is visible by the 4-5 week mark, while on subjects with mature skin, the healing process takes a little longer and takes about 6-7 weeks for the cell turnover to be completed. We have no control over your body healing process, so please, be patient! Important: * Don't pick: this could cause scarring and additional pigment loss * No Facials, botox, chemical treatments for at least 4 weeks * No Working out (sweating) for at least 10 days * Avoid tanning for the following 3 weeks. Wear a hat for the first 2 weeks then apply sunscreen * Avoid long/hot showers and steam for the first 10 days * No Swimming * Makeup over the treated area for 2 weeks Eyes * Day 1: clean with water and cotton pads or baby wipes every hour; apply the LEAST amount of aquaphor before you go to bed. * DAY 2-5: rinse eyes with water, pat dry; apply the least amount of aquaphor morning and night. Whether you have had an eyelash enhancement, your eyes will appear puffy for the following 2-3 day. For the most natural lash enhancements, sometimes one session is enough; thicker liners may need 2-3 sessions. Skin should never be overworked; the eye tissue is super sensitive and very thin; if your eyes start bleeding or become swollen we prefer to complete the work in multiple sessions. * Day 1-3: You may experience puffy eyes, heavy lids.Try to sleep in an elevated position to help reduce swelling at night. * Day 4-6: some scabbing may occur; keep the area clean and no makeup on your eyes until completely peeled. Eyes usually heal within 1 week. NO MAKEUP during this time. Eyes permanent makeup lasts longer compared to other areas and doesn’t require yearly touch ups such as eyebrows or lips due to the thinner tissue. Important: * Keep the area CLEAN gently washing your face, without rubbing on eyes. * Try to sleep on your back to avoid rubbing your face on the pillow * No makeup for the following week * Do not pick the scabs, let them naturally exfoliate * Avoid direct sun exposure for the following 3 weeks Lips * Day 1: Wipe lips every hour with cotton pads and bottled water Or water wipes, and apply the lip balm (provided) each time you clean. * Day 2-5: Apply lip balm as needed. Gently wash your lips in the morning and at night with water and antibacterial soap , pat dry with a paper towel; apply the LEAST amount of butter balm 2/3 times a day (make sure you don't over apply as this will cause additional pigment loss. * LIPS please drink all liquids with a straw until all scabbing has naturally fallen off. * LIPS Avoid whitening, peroxide toothpastes while healing. Cut food into small bites...no biting into a sandwich. Try to keep mouth expressions to a minimum. Be prepared for bright colored lips and swelling immediately following your procedure. The fuller the natural lip the more swelling occurs. Lips do not look nice while healing! If you are not prepared to put up with how they look in the healing process do not have them done. * Day 1-2: Lips may be swollen and the color is very bright. * Day 3-6: They will go dry and flaky! Be patient, because lips heal relatively quickly. So you may have 4 to 7 days of them looking dry and chapped but the healed result is so worth it! Important: * Avoid spicy food right after your procedure and for a few days * Avoid direct sun exposure for the following 3 weeks. * Avoid drinking wine as this could stain your lips AFTER YOUR FIRST SESSION Permanent cosmetic enhancements often require more than one session for optimal results. Follow-up appointments allow us to refine the shape, color, and pigment retention, ensuring long-lasting results. We recommend a touch-up session 6 to 12 weeks after your initial appointment, which is not included in the price of the first session. Not all pigment may fully retain after the first session, so additional touch-ups may be needed. The skin holds pigment better during touch-ups, and over time, the color will naturally soften. Permanent makeup typically lasts 1 to 2 years, depending on factors like skin type, age, and pigment used. To maintain your enhancement, avoid products like retinol and glycolic acid in the brow area, and use sunscreen to reduce fading. Clients with oily skin may require touch-ups sooner, but we recommend at least a year between color boosts. Permanent Makeup DOES and HAS to fade over time! The duration depends on multiple factors: * Immune system * Age * Aftercare * Technique * Sun exposure * Medications (ex. thyroid, anxiety medications) * Gym activity, and excess of sweating * Health Tattoo Removal/Lightning It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scarring and to achieve optimum results. * Immediately following the procedure, it is best to cover the treated area with a non- stick bandage and rest for 48 hours prior. (do not cover permanent makeup or scalp micropigmentation) * To prevent the risk of infection, always wash your hands thoroughly and vigorously with soap and warm water before applying aftercare and bandage. * A scab will form over the treated area and will naturally fall off in approximately two weeks. It is critical to keep the scab clean, and apply the Silver Gel. No prolong exposure to the sun until the scab falls off naturally (in approximately 10 days to 2 weeks). * Only Silver Gel is to be used topically, with no makeup, lotions, or other ointments to the treated area until the scab has naturally fallen off. * Do not try to pick at the scab as this can cause scarring and less ink removal. * If the treated area is below the elbow or knee, elevate for 10 minutes every 2 hours for 3 days. * After the scab falls off naturally, continue to use the Silver Gel twice daily and shield the area from the sun and apply a pure zinc oxide SPF. The sun can be very damaging to new skin. * After the removal process is complete the skin may appear pink for approximately 1 year, it is very important to protect this new skin from the sun with a zinc SPF. Our aftercare products are scientifically proven and highly recommended to help reduce the risk of scarring. * If an infection or adverse reaction occurs at the site of the treated area, contact me immediately, and seek medical advice if necessary.
